How to recover a bricked Audi MMI 3G or 3G Plus

First install official Firmware:


For A4,A5,Q5 and Q7 it is K767


For A6,A7,A8 and Q3 it is K770
Install official 2014 maps:


Just install maps the official way in the update menu
Install the patch:


Turn ignition
on
!!!.


Wait a few minutes 3 to 5 minutes till mmi is fully booted.


Insert the right patch for the current model in sd-card slot 1, the left one.


Now you get automatically a screen which says push button, now do one turn with the big
round knop. (if screen doesn’t appear wit
hin one min remove an reinsert sd)


Patching is started and will take up to a few minutes.


You get a second screen which says patching is finished, again one click turn with big round knop.


Restart mmi with 3 button reset and enjoy the 2014
